So it's been awhile and boy have we been busy. Since my last post not only have we found out where we would move to but have moved there and had a three month layover in Wyoming. We've had many firsts over the last few months. The boys went to there first Easter egg hunt that a wonderful family in our ward put on. Even though it was wet and a bit chilly it was a blast.
Aleq was also invited to his first birthday party. His friend
Dallin had his birthday at the gym we go to, they got to do a fun fitness class especially for kids, open presents, and of course eat cake.
Aleq had so much fun he wanted a birthday party at the gym too for his birthday. Shawn also graduated from dental school this June. The boys were able to go into the school and help Shawn ring the ceremonial cow bell that announced he had finished treating his last patient at school. After graduation we packed up our stuff and headed west towards California. We made a pit stop in Wyoming where the boys and I stayed while Shawn attended officer's training in Alabama. We had so much visiting with family the summer seemed to pass by in just a few days. We are so thankful to have had that time to visit such great members.

Hendrik is mesmerized

Papa showing
Aleq the peanut butter trick after he burned his finger

This is a much better (safer) way for toddlers to enjoy fireworks

Nothing like lounging in front of a sprinkler on a hot day
Aleq wants to be just like Grandpa, right down to the boots!
