Halloween and other Fall adventures.

As the weather got a bit chilly I found myself wanting to bake more and the boys did too. Their new favorite thing to do is put on aprons and help me bake. This month we made dozens of cookies and a half a dozen loaves of bread for freezing. (The cookies never made it to the freezer). I think I have a couple of pastry chefs in the making.

For Halloween we went to the church's Trunk-or-Treat on Friday night. We had a yummy pizza dinner, there was a costume parade, and it finished off with the Trunk-or-Treat. On Saturday we were invited to our friend's house and Aleq went trick-or-treating around their neighborhood. It didn't take Aleq long to figure out trick-or-treating and he was so excited to get candy from all the houses. After we went back to their house for dinner. All in all it was a pretty fun holiday.

Fall always means football. The boys love football. Aleq's favorite team is Iowa and you can hear him yell "Go Hawkeyes" everytime he sees anything black and gold.

This is our Jack-O-Lantern, Aleq was more excited to see the finished product than to help carve.

Look at what a fun mom you are! Your boys are darling- I can see why your mom misses you all so much!

And what is it about the football? Kai is the same way- he'll sit and watch with Lee and they get all 'blued' out for BYU- it's all GO Cougars at our house! But I must say that I do love having a boy!!
