I know, I know, I'm absolutely awful at this blogging business as well as photo journaling and a slew of other similar things but I feel doing a short summary months later still counts for something, right? So our autumn was pretty action packed and unfortunately I do not have enough arms to wrangle two crazy little boys, comfort an infant, pack around everybody's gear, and take pictures so I don't have as many photos as I would like.
So this Fall Aleq started preschool, he loves playing with all the kids and his favorite activities are playing outside and the water table. I have to pack him an extra set of clothes in his school bag because he always gets so crazy with the water table his clothes are soaked by the end of class and he needs to change his clothes. We also headed out west this October because Shawn had a rotation in Colorado for five weeks. We had so much fun seeing friends and family and the weather was beautiful the entire visit. We first went to Malad, ID for a family Halloween party and got to see Uncle Zak, Aunt Rachel, and Ellie. The boys also got to meet my wonderful Aunt Traci, her daughter Mindee and Mindee's fun little ones Rylee, Drew, and Mason. Then we were off to Star Valley to visit the Browns, then to Fremont County, then to Colorado to celebrate Rhees' birthday with Shawn. All in two weeks!
Rhees had a great birthday with pizza, cake, and Mack trucks! After Shawn's rotation we headed back to Iowa where we spent Thanksgiving. Unfortunately we all got terribly sick over Thanksgiving break, but thanks to modern medicine we are all healthy again. I think that about sums up our autumn.
