Whew- What a winter!

I have to apologize to everyone. It seems I have neglected my blog over the last few months. We have had one crazy busy winter full of fun, family, and ear infections. We went to Wyoming for Christmas and had a wonderful time visiting with family. Rhees got his first ear infection while we were there and Aleq didn't seem to feel much better. However, I notice children don't seem to let illness spoil their fun. After returning home both Shawn and I jumped head first into spring semester classes. Shawn has been doing great and really enjoys taking patients. Rhees got a double ear infection at the end of January and Aleq for some reason began to act out. As much as I love doing classes I realized it was taking far too much time from my family and I was so over extended I was getting cranky. I decided to withdraw this semester and I have noticed that both Aleq and I have been less cranky. I absolutely love the extra time I have to spend with the boys! Aleq and I have started a toddler tumbling class at the gym and we have so much fun. Ms. Becky leads us in songs and dances. She even sets up an obstacle course to practice donkey kicks and barrell rolls. Aleq loves giving Ms. Becky high-fives and showing off his belly but he is a bit hesitant when we play with the giant parachute. Through the class he has made a few friends and is getting better at following direction. Rhees continues to grow and grow and grow. He is almost as big as Aleq now! He is very close to rolling over and has found his new favorite toy-The Johnny jump up (gotta love those)! He is such a sweet boy and always has a smile on his face. There's our winter in a nut shell, I'll try to be better about posts in the future.
